1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, applying for membership, or participating in any program organized by BUBT English Club, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and all applicable rules and regulations of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology.
2. Membership Eligibility
Regular membership is open exclusively to enrolled students of BUBT. Alumni and faculty may join in associate or honorary capacities subject to executive committee approval. Members must maintain academic good standing and uphold the values of the club.
3. Code of Conduct
Members and event participants must conduct themselves with respect, integrity, and professionalism. Discrimination, harassment, plagiarism, or any disruptive behaviour will result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
4. Event Participation
Registration for competitions, workshops, and events implies acceptance of event-specific rules. The club reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate guidelines, miss mandatory briefings, or breach the spirit of fair play.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, the club logo, photographs, and publications — is the property of BUBT English Club and protected by applicable copyright laws. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
6. User Submissions
By submitting articles, photographs, or any creative work to our publications or gallery, you grant the club a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish and distribute that content across our official channels with proper attribution.
7. Certificates & Verification
Digital certificates issued by the club can be verified through the official verification tool on our website. Falsification or unauthorized duplication of certificates is strictly prohibited and may attract disciplinary action by the university.
8. Limitation of Liability
BUBT English Club and its executive members shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or participation in club activities, except where prohibited by law.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. Updates take effect upon being posted to this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Dhaka courts and the disciplinary framework of BUBT.
